Day 1: Trat – Koh Chang Arrival
Arrival at Trat Airport. (Flight Bangkok – Trat not included) Depart to pier in Trat by private air-conditioned transportation with a local guide. From the pier take ferry boat to Koh Chang. Depending on your hotel location, hotel representative will wait for you at pier in Koh Chang and escort you to the hotel. Check into the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Koh Chang or ‘Elephant Island’ is the third largest island after Phuket and Samui. The island is part of the Mu Ko Chang National Park. Despite its increase in development and tourism in the past decade or so, it has retained its remote and rugged character. From jungle covered mountain peaks to sweeping bays, great waterfalls to flourishing coral reefs, beach huts to luxury resorts, Koh Chang has plenty to offer for everyone.

Day 2: Koh Chang

Explore the unknown and exciting east side of Koh Chang. Very few tourists on Koh Chang experience this fascinating side. You have the opportunity to experience several highlights on this day trip and get a really nice overall impression of Thailand's second largest Island. After picking you up from hotel we will show you the beautiful viewpoint at White Sand Beach before continuing to the North of the island. Here we then visit the spirit house of Koh Chang, which is the most important on the island and which has influences from the Chinese Buddhism. We continue down the east coast and visit the beautiful mangrove forests in Salak Kok, where we are going on a boat trip through the mangrove forest. You can choose between Thai traditional “Gondola” boats or kayaks. With an attempt to bring back to good old days, the locals joined hands to set up Salak Khok Community Tourism Club. We then continue to Salak Phet and visit the local temple, where our guide will tell you more about Buddhism. Lunch we enjoy in Salak Phet. In the afternoon we will take you to Shambala Beach Bar in the beautiful Klong Son bay. This is one of the best kept secrets on Koh Chang and a great place for relax and swim in the beach pool. You can also walk on the beach and we will serve you one of the bars frozen drinks. Late afternoon we return back to your resort.

Day 3: Koh Chang
Breakfast at your hotel and the day is at your leisure to relax or explore the island. Most of the popular attractions are located on the western side, stretching from the north to the south. These include White Sand Beach, Klong Prao Beach, Klong Plu Waterfall, Kai Bae Beach, Klong Son Bay (Chang Noi Beach), Lonely Beach (Hat Tha Nam) and a fishing community of Bang Bao Beach. This is because the beaches on this side are wide and less stony, making them more appealing to the beachgoers.

Day 4: Koh Chang – Koh Kood
Breakfast at your hotel. Depart to pier by joined transportation. From the pier take the boat to Koh Kood. Check into the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Koh Kood is a true escape island to visit and probably one of the best in Thailand for lovers of beaches, jungles and waterfalls. Along with the stunning scenery and crystal-clear water, expect it to be quiet, even during High Season. In 2014, The Guardian called Koh Kood ‘Thailand’s Last Unspoilt Island’ and up to today it still is.

Day 5: Koh Kood
Breakfast at your hotel and day is at your leisure to relax or explore the island. The island’s west coast is dotted with pristine beaches from north to south, all blessed with icing sugar-soft sand. When the sun shines (which is often), this gives Koh Kood’s sea a clarity and shimmer that’s unbeaten. At Klong Chao you also have access to dive centers, low-key bars and restaurants without being limited to your resort at pool is about as crazy as things get). Bang Bao, meanwhile, is a lake-quiet alcove with rustic wooden piers jutting into it as well as one of the island’s best snorkeling reefs. For the full castaway experience, head to Ao Prao in the south, which remains a barely touched crescent moon bay lapped by that beautifully clear Koh Kood waters.

Day 6: Koh Kood

Koh Kood’s showpiece waterfall, Klong Chao Waterfall, is the one you always imagined: thick, wide and pummeling, surrounded by a deep green pool where the locals have erected a deathdefying rope swing. It’s a bit of a struggle to clamber onto but provides wonderfully safety-bereft plunges into cool freshwater. The local fishing villages are still fishing villages. They’re not just tourist attractions. Fishing remains a full-time occupation on the island, and there Day 5: Koh Kood Day 6: Koh Kood Valid for travel from: 01 April 2023 – 31 March 2024 Multi Day Tour Tariff 2023/24 (PT1-THB) are two working fishing villages where inquisitive visitors are welcome to take a stroll.

Day 7: Koh Kood – Koh Mak
Check out at hotel in Koh Kood and depart to pier by joined transportation. From here take the boat to Koh Mak. Check into the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Sitting in the middle between mountainous Koh Chang and pristine Koh Kood, Koh Mak is relatively small and out of radar for most tourists, and far more the typical desert island model than them. The island is a perfect location for people who are looking for a relaxing holiday to get away from it all.

Day 8: Koh Mak
Breakfast at your hotel and the rest of the day is at your leisure to relax or explore the island. Koh Mak is a quiet place for people who are looking for a relaxing holiday; relax in a hammock or get a traditional Thai massage. The island has beautiful nature, both above and under weather. The nearby Marine Park has the best selection of marine life Thailand has to offer. You will find a local diving school where you can book diving and snorkeling trips. There are also plenty of guided tour boot trips to visit neighboring islands.
